The National Petroleum Council chart demonstrates the challenge of supplying global demand for liquid transportation fuels and the role of biofuels in meeting future demand. Independence Bio-Products’ algae oil can play a significant role in meeting these supply challenges.
Based upon field results of algae production, IBP has demonstrated it can produce more than 30 times the biofuel feedstock per acre than soybeans. Every day IBP’s algae double in population and IBP harvests algae on a daily basis.
IBP’s algae lipids can be used as a feedstock for biofuels and other biologically based lipid products. IBP is confident that these lipids can be made into biodiesel, renewable jet fuel, and green diesel.
